We’re all just walking each other home…
Lora is working towards bringing dignity, love, and acceptance to this very difficult time we all experience one day. This is a portal of deep growth, acceptance, and healing for all. This is sacred space.
Lora Criner was born and raised right here in Nashville. After graduating from MTSU in 2008, with a BBA specializing in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, she embarked on her career in the Entertainment Business. For the past 20 years, Lora has worked as a multi-faceted producer, working on Commercials, Films, Music Videos and everything in between.
Throughout that time, as loved ones were dying, she felt a deep-seeded calling to be present and at their sides, ensuring peace and strength at those most profound times. Inspired by these experiences, over the past 12 years, she has had the honor and privilege to hold space for both loved ones and strangers during their transition from of this life. Lora got her Death Doula certification in 2018 from the non-profit INELDA and began volunteering with Alive Hospice at the end of 2022.
As she continues to work professionally in Production, Lora knows that her true heart lies elsewhere, holding space for those at the end of their lives. She feels that her work as a Doula is the most important work of her life.
